Edison base (screw-in) LED lights
We stock a wide selection of Edison base
led lights.
D.C. led lights have an important place in portable
and stationary emergency lighting systems.
Our largest led light will operate on a 50 amp hour
12 volt battery for over 175 hours, the smaller ones
will run even longer.
These lights fit into a standard light bulb socket
when it is wired for low voltage direct current.
These lights use an amazingly small amout of energy and are
available in either 12 volt d.c. ( 6, 12 and 24 led) or 24 volt d.c. (6 and 12 led)
They use 6, 12 or 24 super bright white leds.
The center of the screw base is positive, these have a
built-in diode for protection against reverse polarity.
High intensity 3 watt / 3 LED Edison base 12 volt d.c. light.
These new lights draw approximately 3 watts of power and
produce a tremendous amount of light.
The beam is 120 degrees which makes them ideal for both work
and area lighting.
Currently we are using three of these for outdoor lighting.
The unit is fully potted and is sealed against moisture, you still need
to keep the screw base dry.
The led's are super bright white with a color temperature of
5500 degrees K which is cooler than daylight and have a tinge of blue.
The leds are backed by a polished aluminum disk which enhances the
light output.
They are operated by power point tracking drivers which have the
widest input voltage range in an led light.
The base is a standard Edison medium base which allows them to be
used in a standard light bulb socket which has 12 volt d.c. wired into it.

3 watts ( has three one-watt Luxeon led's) - power draw app. 300 ma (0.3 amp)
Includes an aluminum back reflector as shown which just presses into place if the
optional concentrating lens is not used.
Once this reflector is pressed in by the customer it would be very difficult to
remove if you plan to use the optional concentrating lens later.
Notice the holes in the metal LED mounting plate.
These allow you to install or remove the optional concentrating lens shown below.
The polished aluminum reflector can not be in place when the concentrating lens
is used.
This light produces an amazing amount of light at about a 105 degree angle.

Optional concentrating lens for the LIT mod. 2004-12/3-HP led light.
This lens narrows the angle of light to 45 degrees and increases the
intensity.
Well suited for higher ceilings.
The three pins shown on the back view mount into the face of
the light when the reflector is not used.
The following picture shows the lens mounted - the light is not included.
