Edison base (scew-in) fluorescent lights

We stock a wide selection of both one-piece and

two-piece Edison base lights.

These lights fit into a standard light bulb socket

when it is wired for low voltage direct current.

one-piece:

The tube and ballast are permanently attached to

produce an economical light.

Available in either 12 volt or 24 volt d.c. with wattages

from 7 watts to 23 watts.

Color temperatures (warm white, cool white, cold white)

in 27K, 41K and 65K.

The 27K (warm white) and 65K (cold white) are not stock

items and can be special ordered.

The center of the screw base is positive, these have a

built-in diode for protection against reverse polarity.

two-piece:

These ballasts come in two types.

The first accepts 5 to 13 watt SE tubes.

The second accepts 13 to 26 watt DE (double), TE (triple)

or PLL-L (parallel triple) tubes.

An advantage of the two-piece models over the one-piece is

that if the tube wears out, just replace it.

This saves money in the long run by using the same ballast.

The SE ballasts are available in 12 or 24 volt d.c.

The TE/DE ballasts are available in 12 or 24 or 48 volt d.c.
